On this page, we are hoping to keep you up to date on the progress of the building construction, for it is you, the people, that are the church. We are very excited about this door that God has opened for us and we wish to be faithful for what he has given us.
The picture to the right is of the 7 acres (bound in red) on which the Church will be built. The building permit for the foundation phase was issued on November the 15th. Excavation work will begin November 19th. With your financial support and prayers,we hope to be able to enjoy the fruits of our labors by early 2008.
Left is a picture taken on the day of our Ground Breaking Ceremony. It was here that we dedicated this land for God and staked a claim for His Kingdom.
On the right are gold painted shovels used in the ground breaking ceremony.

Undaunted by snow and storm the faithful building crew continue to make headway.
Steel beams in place showing the promise of a floor coming soon.
We now have a floor - we will be ready to move in any time! The walls are taking shape but it's still a little drafty on the platform...
Raising walls in Pastor Bob's new office.
Trusses are ordered, temperatures are at record lows but we're almost ready for a roof. The church is now visible from the highway.
This is the front of the Church as it appeared on February 23rd, 2008.
...and the back view of the church as of February 23, 2008.
Interior partitions and freshly laid white carpet. Trusses have got to be next.....
.
Yes! We finally have some trusses. Thanks to some warmer weather it's starting to progress much more quickly now.
Here is the main floor interior showing the trusses going into place. This photo was taken on February 26, 2008. The weather has been sunny and beautiful for several days now.
Here is the inside of the Sanctuary as it appeared on March 13, 2008.
The crew is now up to their knees in mud instead of snow.....at least it's a little warmer though.
The building site has sure changed a lot recently. It is beginning to look like a church now.
They are working on sheeting in the roof here and have the trusses in place on the peak of the roof. Don't let the blue sky fool you - it's still cold out there!
You can really start to see what the facade will look like from this point on. Looks like it will be all closed in just in time for the nicer weather to begin!
As you can see the roof is entirely sheeted in now. Before you know it the shingles will be on.
This photo shows the shingles all in place. They are almost ready for siding as you can see. This was taken on April 18, 2008.
Here is the most recent view of the back of the church, also almost ready for siding.
As you can see the siding is going on, the windows are in and it is almost completely closed in now.
This photo shows the contractor along with a few of the many volunteers who have been helping with the church. From L-R: Hal Coles, Pastor Bob Lehmann, Georges Gallant, Robi Robichaud.

The front of the church as of early June, 2008
This is the basement showing the styrofoam insulation and metal mesh in place in preparation for the heating pipes and concrete floor. This photo was taken mid-June 2008.
Inside the sanctuary showing part of the rostrum area. Foil-backed insulation/vapor barrier is almost completed on the whole main floor of the Church.
This is a rather interesting shot looking straight up into the cupola while standing on the rostrum.
This photo was submitted by a Church member showing an aerial view of the church building and property.
Rear view after yard clean-up, taken July 17, 2008. Only the very peak still needs siding and the doors are due to be installed in about 1 week.
A front view of the Church also taken on July 17, 2008. The portico has been built and the last of the siding is in place on the body of the building.
Here is another shot of the front of the church. This one was taken the 2nd week of August, 2008. They will be starting work on the pillars soon.
Most of the gyproc is in place on the main floor interior as of early August 2008.
This is just a slightly different angle of the last shot, once again showing the majority of the gyproc in place.
This is while the septic field was being dug and put in. By this time it has been completed. The following several pictures show different aspects of the same.
The gyproc and mudding has been completed inside, the stairs to the basement have been put in and the painting has been started on the interior.
The paint for the interior, floor coverings and seat fabrics are currently being selected so before very much longer the interior should be looking much more like a church!
All church belongings were moved out of the storage units and into the church prior to the end of October. It is now able to be heated and before you know it we will be ready to start holding services in our new location. ________________________ Additional links on this topic:
